Frequently
Asked Questions
This is a compiled list of questions that we have received.
Are we (the student Doctors) going to be placing an implant in a live
patient?
YES: on day three of the course,
the student Doctors will each perform one implant surgery on a live
patient, and assist in a second implant surgery. This essentially
provides multiple opportunities to be directly involved in the placement
process.
Is the Doctor required to bring a patient ?
NO: The Implant Institute has
already obtained, and pre-qualified the patients. Our Mentoring Doctors
have already gone over the patients health history, x-rays, and have
deemed that the patient is ready for this level of treatment.
"I am a General Dentist, however you are not offering a course within a
state for which I am licensed ?"
YES: You are welcome to join in
our course however you will not be able to participate in the actual
hands surgery with live patients.
We have had many Doctors register and attend the course who are not
currently licensed within a state where our centers are located. We
offer this type of attended a steep discount for these Doctors to audit
the course.
